SmallBrix is in a pre-launch phase: this site lets you reserve kits from our first production run, and no payments are taken. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
SmallBrix, an early-stage project operated from Poland, is the data controller for smallbrix.com. For anything related to your data, write to hello@smallbrix.com.
What we collect
When you submit a reservation or early-access signup, we store what you enter in the form — name, email, country and, if you fill them in, phone and shipping address fields — together with your cart, the price you saw and your language. Our hosting provider also processes technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run the site securely.
Cookies and analytics
We use one functional cookie (ab_id) to keep the version of the site you see consistent, and we remember your cookie choice in your browser. With your consent we also load analytics and advertising tools — Amplitude (analytics, EU servers), Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel (ad measurement) — which set their own cookies and receive events about how you use the site, for example viewing a product or submitting a reservation. If you choose "Essential only", these tools are never loaded. With the same consent, Amplitude also records session replays of how the site is used; form inputs are masked, so what you type is not captured.
Why we use your data
To record your reservation and contact you about it when production starts; to send the early-access updates you signed up for; to understand which products, prices and messages people respond to; and, with your consent, to measure our advertising.
Who we share it with
We rely on service providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Amplitude (analytics with EU data residency) and — only with your consent — Meta and TikTok for ad measurement. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Reservation and signup data is kept until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can honour first-run reservations, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the tools listed above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — use "Cookie preferences" in the footer for cookies. You can also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
